Introduction. The article deals with the essence and features of project activities in vocational training. Definitions are given: Project, method of projects, project activity. The structure of the project and project activities is studied. Also shows the relationship of design, training and research activities in the performance of various types of work. The purpose of the article is to substantiate and reveal the author's concept of the features of project activity in professional training.
Materials and methods. The main methods of research are the analysis of scientific literature on the problem of project activities in vocational training; Grouping, comparison and comparison analysis and synthesis of indicators.
Results. Determined what pedagogical conditions ensure the effectiveness of training students of pedagogical specialties to project activities in primary school. The comparative analysis of project and other types of educational activity of students is also presented,
specific features of project activity are allocated. The recommendations under consideration are illustrated by examples. Requirements for project preparation were formulated.
Discussion. It is emphasized that the effectiveness is another system of training future teachers to implement the method of projects in the school.
Conclusion. It is concluded that the organization of training of future teachers for the implementation of the method of projects in the school provide effective training of students of pedagogical specialties to the project activities in the primary school.
